MANNERISM is a homage to the late 90 ́s and early 2000 ́s Alternative & Nu Metal, a sound that is well-received by the younger generation and it ́s current zeitgeist.
The song reconnects in a modern world full of conflict & terror where bands back than stopped: not only as a basic criticism to the major systems we are living in, but also to a collective humanity with all it ́s individual Mannerisms such as hate, envy, projections, prejudices, misogyny & violence.
Fed by “Social”-Media and the internet, these phenomena have shaped the world that we ́re used to and that we ́re living in. But not all hope is lost, right?

EVEN WHEN is the first track of the currently heavier path of the local Alternative band from Frankfurt, Germany.
The song slowly starts with a bunch of catchy verses & chorus before exploding into a firestorm of guitar solos, heavy breakdowns and catchy hooklines, which are underlined by the intensity of the home-made video.
It´s lyrical message is to stay positive and aware towards and with each other even during difficult times of life. Naked on Palmtrees are thereby showing that it’s possible to create something unique and powerful even without having the backup of a big budget, a professional video company or a music label.
